Kodiak vs. CCW vs. Jongbloed

I'm looking to get a set of track wheels in 16X10.5 & 16X13.

Kodiak wants $2000. Jongbloed wants $2600. CCW wants $2200.

Are all these wheels of about the same quality (strength and weight)?

Are there other options out there in a 16" wheel? I know Fikse and Kinesis no longer make 16's.

Thanks-
Craig Backer

I prefer Kodiak to CCW (look and weight wise).

No opinion (no experience) on Jongbloed.

I will get 2 sets of Kodiak (possibly one 17" and one 15") for my car.

What car are these going onto? PM me we are looking into RSR forged replica wheels....

These are going on a Porsche Racing Club (PRC) GT-Limited car.

I have seen the Jongblood wheels in person on my friend's SC race car and they are beautiful. Very well made. He has several sets and has been using them for many years - he is quite happy with them.

Have not seen the Kodiaks in person. The CCWs look to be well made too.

Just found out that CCW's are $2200 for a set in these sizes. I'm going to edit the original post with this info.

I've seen many types of CCW wheels in person and I've talked with the owners and every single one loves them. Light, strong and well-made. Prices are very good for a full custom wheels, too.

My Father and I have deliberated over wheels selection for our track SC and we are going to go with Kodiaks. The Kodiaks look great, are also well-made, lighter than CCW's and more uncommon. Sizes will be 17x8 and 17x9.

I have no experience with Jongbloed wheels, so I can't say anything about them.

Turns out Kodiak's in Canada and because of the exhchange rate varying, the wheels would cost $2240. It would also take them seven weeks to ship. CCW and Jongbloed take two weeks.

You might want to contact Jeff Alton via pm (previous username was "catca") and search for a thread discussing the Kodiaks - I think he has been working with Kodiak. I know his wait for the initial set of wheels that he ordered from them was longer than 7 weeks...
