Unhappy G50 transmission passenger side problem?

With rear of the car up on jack stands, wheels removed, engine running, and 1st gear engaged, I can stop the passenger side hubs spin by applying a small amount of hand pressure. I cannot stop the hub on the drivers side in this manner.

Is this normal for a G50 (not LSD)?

Additional information:

- With the engine off, and 1st gear engaged, if I spin one hub by hand, the other hub moves with equal force in the opposite direction. Also, if I hold one hub still, the other cannot move at all, even when applying a lot of force. These characteristics are true for both passenger and driver side.

- A few weeks ago I replaced the complete passenger side half shaft when I noticed that both the inner and outer CV's were bad (torn boots & grinding).

- I have just have replaced the inner CV on the drivers side after experiencing the infamous "CV Joint Failure Carnage".

Bump ...with the hopes that the AM crowd will be able to confirm all is well, and I can get Schotzie back on the road before the weekend is over.

Sounds normal to me, but then again, whats "normal?"
Thats typical for a non-LSD G50...Does everything seem to work OK?

Thanks for the reply Nine9six.

My main worry is that the passenger side axle was not working when the CV joint blew off of the transmission flange on the drivers side. So if I put it back on the road, it may work just like it did before, and I'll think all is OK when it's really not. I have a very shallow knowledge base on transmissions, so I can't tell if I'm in a bad place or not. I've used this and other search engines for hours, and I don't know much more about the G50 now than I did before. The last thing I want to do is make a bad situation worse, if there really is an issue.

Here's a little more info about how it feels to me.

- When I stop the spin of the passengers side hub with the engine on I feel no grinding, just smooth slippage like something is not fully connected.
- The hand induced operation of the transmission with the engine off seems smooth and strong on both sides.
