rafi,
There have been three basic different settings in use ove the years by the factory for the 3.0 CIS engine, ranging from 0.9 mm to 1.7 mm. The lowest setting is called the 'retarded cam timing' setting and is most beneficial to so-called 'low-end' or 'bottom-end' torque, such as accelerating from a stop. The highest setting is called the 'advanced cam timing,' and is beneficial to higher rpm torque at cruising or overtaking speed on the higthway. ------------------ Warren Hall 1973 911S Targa |

Rafi,
You are quite welcome! I would suggest the 0.9 mm setting for the best low-end torque. Several 3.0 owners have reported preferring that setting and the resulting torque taking off from rest. ------------------ Warren Hall 1973 911S Targa |

Does this means that I will have more power on low rpm. than in High rpm. Can you confirm me also if the procedure for the right bank setting (cyl 4.5.6.) is this with the same TDC mark as for the right bank (cyl 1.2.3.)Thanks guy's
