best plugs for a 3.0?
Hey guys. What are you 3.0 guys using for spark plugs? I have on order a Accel 8145C coil and want to change my plugs with it. Not sure whats in there yet. What do you think is the best plug to use? thanks in advance

I just changed my plugs with Bosch standard copper ones. WR5DC.
I was told those are the best to use on the 3.0 engines.

Use what Porsche specifies. You can't really gain anything meaningful with a plug but you definitely can lose, if you try the wrong ones.

ok thanks. Do you think Bosch plugs will go good with an Accel coil?

I have no idea about the Accel coil. I tend to stick with what I know works, which means all my 911s run a stock coil.

Copper core. No "platinum" or otherwise fancy-dansy plugs. Bosch or NGK.

Yes, cooper Bosch WR5DC is what I use each and every time. I did try the Bosch Platinum, but I had nothing but trouble and changed back to copper within 2 days.
That's my 2 cents or rather $1.95 each.
