the new exhaust is going on......

She's up on jacks and we're attempting to remove the heat exchangers and exhaust.. Upgrading to the pre 73' Bursch headers and dual inlet muffler.. Broke one heat exhanger stud so far.. I'll deal with that later.. Anyone installed this system before?? It looks like there may be some issues with getting the muffler to fit.. Will it hang down and look crappy or does it fit up there o.k.?? Any problems you guys can think I'll be running into as I progress?? Can we re-use the existing muffler straps or am I screwed??

It should fit...on the studs, use lots of liquid wrench and tighten first the loosen....

The old hangers will work if it is a banana style muffler...
