An invitation to meet this Sat. in So. Cal.

Because of shifting priorities, I have not been very active with my old Porsches in the past couple years, but plan on showing up at an informal "chat 'n chew" to be held at 8:30 a.m. this Saturday (Jan. 20) at Krispy Kreme in Orange, CA. 330 City Drive, Orange, CA. Put together by the PCA Orange Coast Region.

My understanding is that quite a few cars show up, people munch on doughnuts, check out each others cars, chat and go home.

I look forward to seeing many of my old PCA friends (for the first time in way too long), and would also be honored to meet many of the PPBB list luminaries as possible.

So, if you are interested, let me know, and I'll make it a point to seek you out. I should be there in my red SC, license plate NR EINS. You'll also be able to pick me out by my devastating good looks (and the fact that I will be being dragged around by my 2 year old son) . . .

Is this an every week event, less the PCA meeting? I'm going to try to make it but I'll have to see. What are the cross streets. Is it by the Orange Mall? Tom, you know me, but my car is a black SC targa (of course, Targas rule and I think you agree) with tail, and polished fuchs. And oh yea, an interior in progress.

No this is just a once a month informal get together for swapping lies and munching Krispy Kreame toridal carbohydrate containment modules.

From what I hear there is supposed to be a real good turnout and the 550 Spyder bunch are coming as well - with a drive afterwards if your interested.
