Where to get 9mm OEM fuel hose
After following the thread about fuel hose (thanks to all for their efforts) I'm stymied. I found the 7mm hose at Pelican, but I can't find the 9mm! Pelican has 8mm, but no 9. Everybody refered to the 9mm hose, and that it was available from Pelican, but I can't find it! Help!

The hose you want is listed under "vacuum hose" -- its in the section immediately below the high pressure fuel hose. You don't need the high pressure fuel hose, which doesn't have the cloth braiding. You want the 7 mm ID/12 OD hose and the 9 mm ID/14 OD hose.

Thank you, I saw the vacuum hose in the correct braiding and size, but assumed it wouldn't work for this application.

I assumed it wouldn't work either (and the Pelican salesperson I spoke to wasn't sure), so I ordered some fuel hose via a friend who is a mechanic. His supplier provided Contitech and Veritas fuel hose specified for a 70T. It appears to be the same hose as listed by Pelican as vacuum hose (it looks like the same material as the larger size vapor hose I ordered from Pelican).

fuel hose
Wrong! Fuel hose and its related systems require the right stuff. We stock 9mm and 7mm for fuel hose. If you can't find it anywhere - call me and I will help.

Perhaps someone from Pelican can chime in on whether the 7mm and 9mm hose they stock is fuel hose. I went with a supplier that stocked the appropriate fuel hose, which is what RPMClassic is correctly recommending.

You can also try the aircraft supply stores like Spruce Aviation supply co.
They have aircraft quality hoses for fuel and any other application. And they are not expensive.

Try a BMW dealer. Call the parts counter. Or perhaps a shop that services BMW, Porsche, etc.
