All About Warren... The Early S Man

I am sure that I speak for quite a few people in this room when I say, "Thank you for all of the well thought out and helpful information". You have been a great help to me without me asking questions, since I tend to look and listen to questions that you have answered and I do certain things, more as preventative maintenance based on your responses.

I 3RD that! I just registered myself to this board,but have been reading the postings for sometime now. Warren has answered questions to things I have not thought to ask.It seems to me he goes out of this way to help other Porsche owners. From the spec books with clear help and insight. Thank you again Warren.

When was the last time anyone saw a thread entitled: "need help please!" from Warren?
He isn't here because he needs help or an opinion, he offers his own time and energy to help and assist others. Thats cool.
Warren, if you were in the Air Force you would be up for an Achivement medal.

I know, if I´m not mistaken, that you have this time for it because you just finished with your fiancée. Thanks God for your free time. Girls realy make up our mind. So guys lets wish Warren a porsche friendly new fiancée.

A quick note to voice my thanks for the help and advice I have received from Warren. Being a relative newbie to the world of Porsche (and air cooled engines) Warren’s well considered words have saved me substantial money and most importantly allowed me to work on my car with confidence.

Warren, I recall reading in a previous post you were thinking of writing a book for the Porsche home mechanic. If you get around to it I’m buying.

Marc, your no slouch when it comes to quality advice yourself, keep up the good work, some of us need all the help we can get!

One would think one could just perform a search against Warren's ID, categorize the posts, and print them!

But I'll pay for a book anyway! Especially if it has some nice color pics of Warren's car. ;-)

Ditto, ditto, ditto. I read the postings for probably three months before I posted anything. I posted my simple question because I saw how Warren treated even the novice owner.

If you put all of Warrens help in one book it would be as big as War & Peace, in fact we could call it Warren Porsche (I apologise for inflicting such a poor pun on you all)!

Warren, - you're on my list of people who are allowed to drive my '70 911E, and it's a real short list.

It's impossible not to chime in, here.

Warren's knowledge and experience -- and more importantly, his willingness to share them -- are really what makes it possible for the family of Porsche owners to remain viable -- and also to continue from one generation to the next. As the original air-cooled models succumb to age, rust, ignorance and collisions, things like Bruce Anderson's book and Warren's posts are what will keep the world of the 911 alive for people who might not have a trust fund to pour into unnecessary repairs -- and (as is the case with some of the people on this list, I'm sure) who might not have even been born when their cars were originally built.
