Leftover allen bolts from Where do they GO

Guys. I bought an Euro SC motor in Feb. for my racecar. I had to remove the air injection lines, do carrera tensioners, reseal things under the airbox (thermostat, sensors etc.) remove and paint the tin and replace the headers. Now six weeks have past and I am all finished with this refresh effort and I have these group of allen head, cad plated bolts left over. WTF did they come from or go back on? I am sadly clueless. . I am just starting to learn my way around these "modern" 3.0 engines. Have yet to do a rebuild on one, only my 2.4S and 2.7S engines.
The bolts are about 1.5" or so. Thanks in advance for any insight.
I am under a crunch to get this engine in the car and go racing!

The large one on the left appears to be a banjo bolt for an oil fed tensioner. The others could be from just about anywhere, really. Exhaust bolts? Is the engine together yet? I mean, if these are important INSIDE bits, you might get a surprise when you start it up.
That's my best shot. HTH

Cool

They go in your toolbox with all the other mystery hardware!
I've pulled that trick on a colleague once. I didn't let him suffer too long, wondering where the extra screws go...........I agree on the banjo bolt idea, except my 3.2 uses a hex head for that , not an Allen cap screw.

You could always figure out the size and go thru the PET by searching for that size. Then you'd have short list of what they might possibly be used in.

How many allen screws are in or on a 911 motor anyway?

The larger allen head bolts look like seat rail bolts.

I would say the allen heads are for the aux air regulator on the passenger side of the engine. They look exactly like the ones I removed last week. It attaches to the intake pipes. Also may be screw for mounting some of the other smaller accessories in the CIS system. they are too short for the WUR on the drivers side.

If everything went back where it was 'supposed' to... well if you post a pic we might be able to tell you it didn't really go there...

Enjoy!

The long one could be from the CV joint.

Late for work but I just checked on CIS mount for that aux air regulator beast, that guess from Euro911Sc looks promising as I had to move the hoses to get under the airbox. More tonight, I really appreciate everybody's insight. Thanks.
