Yes, I'm sure Terry has it. Someone point out a thread for the fix. Otherwise, this could take a long time. :D |
Help With Taco
I used to have problems with Taco's falling apart on me, this was huge for me because I prefer the hard flour Taco's, I've learned to take smaller bites so I don't crush the whole shell.
Hope this helps... You may just want to try soft Taco's, I don't find them particularly as satisfying as hard shell Tacos but if your Taco is giving you a "hard" time it may be something for you to consider. ;) |
taco = British for tach, aka tachometer
He's from Norway, so he may have fallen under the sway of the British Empire and it's linguistic effects -- as long as he stays away from British food, he should be ok tho. |
That is slang for a Toyota Tacoma truck. They always work. No problem!

Dr.Benzin - welcome to the board, but watch out for food jokes. Be glad you didn't ask about Lutefisk!! Looks like we're building a pretty good contingent of Norwegian members here.

Sorry about my bad "english".
Taco-tach-tachmeter or what ever you call it, you can try it my langvitch: " turteller ". Thanks for the advises !!! |
I'm reposting with some edits as the clever reparte posters have pretty much obscured your query.
"Can somebody tell me why my tachometer doesn't work. I have changed engine from a 1975 2.7L to a 1980 3.0L from an SC. I have seen that there are differences between the two ignition [bokses]. The old one from the 2.7 has 3 points for wiring, and the newer from the SC has 6." - Now we need to figure out what "bokses" was meant to be. The only change in the tachometer (tach) operation that I know of is earlier than that. Maybe Warren can help out here. Also, you might try describing the exact hookup you have new - which wire color goes where on the tach. Or post a pic if you can of the same thing. Also, I guess these are Euro model cars and instruments - not a US tach...?? |
