M&K Race Cans!

Installed a pair of Ben's race cans last night. Glorious sounds. I'm not sure my neighbors agree, though.

Please ignore the hideous cut-outs on my rear bumper. I've had four difference exhausts on this car and invariably they never exit at the exact same spot...

I don't have a digital video camera, but our digital camera takes *some* video. I'll try to figure out how to record a quick clip. Can anyone host it if I can make one?

To me it sounds a lot like the 996/997-based race car exhaust. Sort of like a big 3.6 with somewhat open exhaust. Sort of raspy and raw, but very nice. Plus, at about 3 lbs total, it gets alot of weight out of the rear of the car.

Looks good Mike, are you going to run it on the street like that, or is it a track mod?

It's *supposed* to be a track mod. They really are too loud for street use about 75% of the time. I have a track event next weekend and will probably leave them on until then and then swap them out for my street muffler.

They are loud, but really sound awesome. I bought a pair of these and a custom MK 2in-2out and have decided to stick with the 2in-2out. Let me know if anyone is interested in a set of these.

John
