They look nice, but are they balance weights stuck to the outside rim!!??? These can (and should) go inboard!

Looks amazing! Don't get any degreaser on those b/c it will tear up the finish.

HEY I HAVE WEIGHTS ON THE OUTSIDE OF ALL 4??? ARE THEY SUPPOSED TO ONLY BE ON THE INSIDE OF THE RIM?

Yup. Unless you think they're purdy and wanna see them. Don't think it matters as far as balance goes - just a little easier for the guy balancing the wheels unless he's told to put them on the inside.

Looks great SVB! Looks like Mission Hills maybe?

Actually, does matter, especially the wider the wheel/tire. Installing all weights on the inside is a compromise. However, at sub-century speeds, it may not matter as much.

Beautiful car and wheels...thank you for keeping originality and not putting big shiney wheels on the car.

Nice looking car. As for the weights in or out thing, it does matter if you go fast. The rim needs to be balanced in the right left plane too. If all the weights are on one side it's not quite as well balanced and you'll feel it at 100mph plus.

Very nice! Classic!

Hard to tell from the pictures, but you may want to consider installing stem supports for the rubber valve stems on your 9s. Not sure how critical they are on 9s. Perhaps someone else will chime in regarding this. I used metal valve stems all around when I switched to 7s and 9s last year.

What avendlerdp says.
"..........As for the weights in or out thing, it does matter if you go fast. The rim needs to be balanced in the right left plane too. If all the weights are on one side it's not quite as well balanced and you'll feel it at 100mph plus."

Here's a 20" wide wheel. The exact location of balancing weights is important for dynamic balance (rotating part). If the object is stationary, then the placement of weights in front of or behind the center isn't important (as in a base for a coffee table).

it does matter but they can put them all in the inside to hide them and still can balance the wheel/tire.
Any tire balance pro here?

It's all about the moment arm. By putting them on the outside lip rather than inside just behind the spokes, you can more effectively and precisely balance the "right/left" plane.

I put them on the inside for my street rims, but on the outside for my track rims.

Würth makes some really nice looking weights that you can use on the outer lip and they look decent. Keep those ugly segmented weights on the inside.

Brilliant! The whole car looks great.

Porsche, palm trees and a warm climate. What more can a guy ask for. I got one out of three..
