need help deciding
I'm swaping and engine on a 1971 911T for a 3.2L engine but I don't know what I'm doing with the T engine, it is a 2.2L engine. I think I have several options.
a) Part it out selling the webbers by themselves and the core long block by it self b) rebuild the engine and the webbers and sell it for somebody that has a tired engine c) rebuild it and do some mods. (this is a hard one because I don't think there is anything to do to the engine but maybe built it to "e" specs) I have a set of cams and a set of P&C from an "e" engine Please let me now what you would do I'm just looking for my best option to recoup some of the expenses on the engine swap Thanks |

Goldsc,
If it still runs and isn't too tired sell it as is and put the time and money into your mod. If it's tired part it out as you planned. I went through a similar decision and its just less stressful to move on to the new project Dirty Marty Fallbrook,CA

Agree, I don't think you would recoup your money rebuilding it and then selling it.

What I'll do is I'll run some compression and leakdown tests and if it comes out good I'll sell it like it is, if it comes out bad ,I'll sell the webbers and the lomgblock as a core
Thanks for the replies, your help is really apreciated |
