Where can I find a replacement jack?

When I bought my 86 last year it did not have a jack with it. I'd like to replace it and have tried searching for it, but am having troubles. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

-Thanks

Try a Porsche dismantler/ junkyard. There are a bunch coast to coast. Out here we have Parts Heaven and EinMalig. to name a couple. East Coast? Hopefully someone will chime in.
You might also try asking your local P-Car mechanic...I scored one from a race shop's 'junk/weight removal' bin for $25. Also might try swap meet ?

I'd expect to pay $50- 100 from a dismantler.

Cheers, Cooper

Try Performance Products. New 130.00, Don't know if it;s OEM or not but looks the part.

Zims--they're on the internet. Used or rebuilt parts.

The stock jack leaves a lot to be desired and is fairly unsafe for anything besides changing a tire. Even changing a tire on dirt shoulder could be dangerous. Unless you want the correct jack for show, there are better alternatives. I found a Mazda aluminum scissor jack that works very well.

You-r better off w/ a jack pad insert & another type jack.

Agree. Use the factory jack for ceremonial purposes only. Many use the aluminum 944 Turbo (?) scissors jack. Light and more functional, but only for emergencies.
