Voltage Regulator

I've been dealing with some alternator and voltage regulator issues. Anyway, still only getting 12v. Can someone verify the wiring for an early '74ish 55amp alternator w/external voltage regulator? Race car, no factory wiring.

Alternator
B+ Power & Starter
D+to VR D+ & Indicator Light
D- to VR D-
DF to VR DF

Voltage Regulator
DF to Alt DF
D- to Alt D-
D+to Alt D+

I need to dyno the car tomorrow morning and maybe even run some laps at the track.

Your connections appear correct, I asume one of the "D-" connections (typically at the alternator) grounds to the vehicle chassis or to the negative battery post. Verify the indicator bulb is good, if it's open the system won't charge. If the above check-out OK I think you'll need to get the alternator tested.
