Had My Car Professionally Photographed...PICS!

Had my 911 Turbo professionally photographed and thought I would share the pics.

The photographer does alot of architecture but has a passion for sexxy cars, his website is www.willyoungphotgraphy.com he is based in Denver.

Some of you guys know my car and the upgrades I have done.

We went for an industrial look in the pics hence all the crap in the background.

Its a pity the pics were taken BEFORE I powder coated the fan and housing...oh well..timing. BTW changing the alternator is a pain in the asss!

Good news is that this spring we are going to do another photoshoot with a few more exotic cars but have beautiful leggy creatures posing next to the cars! So more to come...LOL!

Enjoy!

Engine shot after the powder coating taken with my cheap digital camera:

Regards - Yasin

Nice car! Beautiful photos of the car. +1 on the "not crazy about the background"...it takes your attention away from the car. Simple industrial, not junky industrial...from a photography teacher...still...beautiful car!

I agree on all accounts above, especially great car!

For a great industrial background series, remember Chuck Moreland's end of build shoot?

Beautiful car, but the background detracts - it is very distracting and looks kind of like a junk yard. If you want industrial look, I would recommend searching for a refinery, a heavy equipment site, or something similar. Great car, and with the proper background it would be stunning.

Exactly - I'd find another professional photographer. Find the guy that takes pics of Jack's car - he seems pretty good.

Or find an Industrial photographer if you can - that's apro who is good at inanimate objects.

The car looks great, though I agree the background is not ideal and the red seems a little flat, might just be my monitor.

I would try and scout a location before you get the next pics done. It's a bit demoralising to hire a snapper and then be driving around fruitlessly looking for possible backgrounds. Think impressive abandoned buildings rather than junked trailers etc, as you may know the area is run down industrial but all we can see is what is in the lens.

One of our guys did some totally fantastic pics of his SC with the 'industrial' theme (a theme I'm a fan of). Here's a few examples for inspiration maybe:

Yasin that background is worse than my dirty starter motor on my new engine. LOL, on another note the M1, 2002, 1600 and the 8 series all fade in the presence of your beautiful 930, being in Denver gives you access to lot of beautiful scenery, take full advantage of that next time.

I know this car......

Great shots of the car, but the backround totally sux. It's kind of industrial gone bad. Especially when Industrial can be well done.

If you paid for these I would try to negotiate another shoot with the Photographer at a better location.

Just my .02

I looked at those pics and thought you were joking. I'm no professional, but a poor background can ruin any photo, which sadly these have. There is a difference between creating a "mood" with the ambiance of a background. We have seen this with the supermodel at the steel factory and other similar ideas. I can't see what ambiance the pick cap cover is creating.

Car looks gorgeous.

In the future, it adds a nice touch to remove the plates and replace with something that adds to the car - like a chrome plate with Porsche, PCA, etc. Remove the front plate entirely.

Man, I can never get over how intoxicating those hips of the 930 are. Classic.

Better, but I would have used some duffusion to enhance the fog effect.
