driver window line-up issues

The door itself is bolted in as good as I can get it, and lines up perfectly with the front corner panel.. My issue is the window-I can see daylight between my door and the weatherstipping, and the wind noise at speed i(yeah!) is driving me nuts!

I have taken off the top inside panel, and see a hex nut that can be moved laterally. When I loosened it, it went nowhere.

My book is at my wrench's and he is on vacation, so I need someone, please, to tell me how to finish this job.

Thanks,

Bill

Bill,
If I read you right you're talking about the entire window frame right?(assuming you have a coupe.) You can adjust the "tilt" of the frame by removing the rubber plugs at each end of the door and they will expose the bolts which hold the front and rear frame in. There are two bolts behind the door panel that secure the quarter window frame--looks like you found one. There is a total of 8 fasteners that holds the assembly tight. If you loosen them slightly, you should be able to move the entire frame a bit closer to the sill for a better fit. Loosen carefully and test fit often. Shouldn't be too difficult.
