You cannot troubleshoot a CDI system like a conventional system.
Don't hot-wire the coil in situ, it could damage the CDI module.
Instead, do a search on how to test the coil outside the system, I remember several posts listing the values.
Reconnect everything, use dielectric grease on the 14-pin plug etc.
First, ensure that power goes to the module and there is ground.
Ignition ON, pull the 3-pin plug off the module.
Do you have 12V and ground?
