AC Condensor fan, and engine cooling fan.

I am trying to select a fan for the rear AC condensor. Looking at how Elu did... pic

and how mthomas58 did his... pic

I am thinking of getting a bigger pusher fan (12") to mount inside my whale tail. It won't be right on top of the condensor but will be on top of the rear deck lid, maybe 1" or so above the condensor. The deck lid will be cut out as the 965 deck lid.

This fan will be turn on when AC is running and also when I stuck in the trafic, even the AC is off. The purposes are for both AC and helping air flow to the engine fan, since it is almost twice taller than the condensor's height. 1/2 of it will be on the condensor and the lower almost 1/2 will be on the opening cut out.

I was thinking of a 7.5" as mthomas58 for the condensor and another 5" for the cut out to blow air into the engine fan when the car is sitting/idling. But both of those Spal fans will cost $160+ while this 12" only cost $30 max. What do you guys think?

Please don't tell me "you get what you pay for". I am hoping something like "fan is a fan. It'll turn and blow air"
Am I dreaming? Anything I don't see?
Thanks guys.

Here is the 12" on ebay.
