Head flow data.

I have searched but I can't seem to find the results for what kind of flow numbers a set of stock 3.2 heads can provide. Does any one have this information?

In the past I've researched posted a lot of information about head flows both here and on the engine rebuilders forum. I don't think that anyonoe's ever posted data for 3.2 heads yet.

I have looked all various message boards and the internet for this information and can't find it. I have data for 3.3 heads both stock and ported, and flow rates for various older 911 heads but no reliable figures for the 3.2. I am sure plenty have this data but finding someone that will post it is a different matter.

This was posted by Racing97 on another board. Here is the stock flow data, and it seems impressive toward the top for stock heads.

3.2 with 5/16 or 8mm stems on intake
Cylinder Head Flow @ 25 Inches of Water
Lift Intake Exhaust E/I Ratio
.050 33 30 90.9
.100 56 52 92.9
.150 95 77 81.1
.200 135 100 74.1
.250 171 119 69.6
.300 207 134 64.7
.400 246 158 64.2
.500 255 179 70.2

I am sorry it is the only data I have in regards to 3.2 the other is 3.8rsr and Gt3r. The Heads were modified with 8mm instead of 9mm valves and some massaging. Trend is correct with a Porsche Head although the cfm is probably fat by 40 or so.

That fine, I apperiacte the data all the same. I have used it to find some interesting results with my engine simulation programs.

The engine that the data was compiled from produce 308 hp @ 7800 rpm which has a flow requirement of 206 cfm. If hp was calculated from cyl head data it would make 340 hp whcih it did not.

regards
