Question DFW area engine stand/yoke for borrow?

Does anyone in the DFW area have an engine stand and yoke (I have a 3 liter engine I am rebuilding) I could borrow for a few months ? I better be done by February

I live in Valley Ranch area, just NorthEast of DFW Airport.

Thanks,

James

Maybe you could borrow Ed's.
Did you get the engine all the way out?

There was no point in pulling it until I have a place to put it while I work on it, so I never got it out from under the car. Still sitting (almost) right where we left it - but it is now well supported with 4x4s.

Ed's yoke and stand are out on loan, unfortunately, so I was hoping someone else might have one.

James,

I can lend you my setup. It's a VW yoke though + engine stand. I propped up the pulley with a 2x4 when I had all of the parts on it just for peace of mind. It's held 2 SC engines 1 transmission and 1 type 411 since I've owned it.

Also have an engine hoist to crank it up to the stand.
