Name the 17" Fuchs

So just for reference...

What do we officially call these wheels now? There's Lindsey's, right? So do we call these Rota Fuchs, or Moses Fuchs? My vote is for Moses Fuchs.

Muchs, Ruchs, Snuchs. :D

:D

LOL.

Whatever they're called, they sure are NICE wheels.

'Rota Fuchs' makes the most sense to me. Moses was the prime mover on these, but I don't think he wants to be seen as the retailer. Rota also enjoys a good enough reputation that there's instantly a difference between them and, say, Performance Products Fuchs.

Has anyone talked to Wayne about offering these through Pelican?

Gogar 04-17-2007 03:04 PM

Well, you can tip your hat to "Moses" and call them

Holy Fuchs.

Wayne is currently deciding wether or not to carry the wheels. At any rate, Subydude is a new Pelican Parts sponsor! Look for his banner ad in the near future.

As for the name, I like Rota. I don't need any more people saying Fuch Moses. ;)

JeremyD 04-17-2007 03:11 PM

I like Holy Fuchs - - Thanks Mark for spearheading/being a front man - we'll get subydude in a 911 before he know it - Jack you gotta get him out on the track with you...

lfot 04-17-2007 03:13 PM

Well, I'd be inclined to change my vote for the sake of Moses/Mark.

TRE Cup 04-17-2007 03:29 PM

Fuchs is a copyrighted name, so ultimately that won't officially work.

You could do a tongue in cheek with Foosh - as some have pronounced it before- repeat quickly 3 times "Rotafoosh, rotafoosh, rotafoosh!"

It will end up being described as " A modern interpretation of a classic German design"

Now with the addition of the 16's being made in China for Perfomance Products, Lindsey's , and our rims it looks like the market will be well satisfied for the larger "Fuchs style" demand

Dueller 04-17-2007 03:51 PM

How bout "FACHS"?

Then we could argue whether it rhymes with "makes" or "max":D

No disrespect...I've ordered a set....

minoclan 04-17-2007 04:14 PM

How about "Big Fuchers" ?

island911 04-17-2007 04:27 PM

Faux's ...pronounced like "Moses" with an "F" rather than an "M"

ScottKelly911 04-17-2007 04:49 PM

this thread is quite possibly the funniest thread I've seen in a long time on here. How about Rota Crucifuchs by Subydude.

9elf 04-17-2007 04:54 PM

SevenTeen inch fUCHS.

STUCHS.:D

ossiblue 04-17-2007 05:57 PM

21st Century Fuchs?

rouxroux 04-17-2007 06:03 PM

How about:

"Fe-Fi-Faux-Fuchs"?

911pcars 04-17-2007 06:17 PM

Porsche-type Rota-Fuchs, a modern 17" interpretation of the classic Fuchs wheel, by Rota Wheels.

No mistaking those words for a product from PAG.

oh well
