Leaks and Windnoise

Targa owners (especially) I have two issues:

My 1980 911 Targa gets a lot of wind noise with both windows closed and at freeway speeds starting at 65 MPH. The noise is almost deafening. Does anyone out there with a Targa experience the same problems and have you found a fix or is this the nature of the beast?

Second issue. Yesterday I drove my car to work for the first time in the rain. It was a moderate storm and I had discovered after the car had been parked for a few hours, leaks coming from the front driver and passenger forward corners, above the window wing and the rear driver and passenger corners. I noticed a small gap between the top of the window wing and the bottom of the Targa top which tells me that this is where the water is coming in. Is there something missing to fill that gap?

Let me now if you have experienced similar issues.

Thanks

I don't think you'll get many replys, because this subject goes on and on. Use search and you'll get your info. I'm one of the lucky ones, no leaks and very little wind noise. The wind noise I did have, my body shop said my window was 1/8 to high. He made the adjustment and that was a big help. Good Luck...
