non-retractable seatbelts and rear child belts?

I've been searching for options on front seatbelts for my '79 930 and found http://www.andoauto.com/ through other posts here. I called and they only have non-retractable "universal fit" belts for my car. Anyone have any experience with these?

Also, I'm looking for thoughts on rear belts, specifically thinking of putting a child seat for emergency use when other vehicles are not available (one of the daily drivers is going in the paint shop for 9 days). I'm not convinced that the OEM lap belt is saf. PEP sells a 3 point belt conversion for the rear, but has anyone installed a top tether anchor on the rear deck for the newer LATCH style child seats? I did such an installation on my '98 M3 and it worked great, but that was done only using BMW factory parts designed for that application.

I converted the rear passenger seat in my 911 for a child seat. I removed the retractable lap belt and put in a non-retactible belt that I bought at NAPA. Not the nicest looking belt, but it was much safer than the OEM. I also removed the seat back and installed a mounting point for the top securing clip for the child seat. The system is not perfect, but much safer than it was. I have a picture of it at home, but i'm at work right now.

The largest problem is that the curviture of the reat seat bottoms will not allow 99% of child seats to fit in. You must make a base for that seat that will allow the seat to sit flat. Which may make it impossible to install the child seat do to clearance problems. If you're able to figure that one out, please let me know. I have a 1 and a 3 year old and would love to take family drives again in my 911.
