Just Bought the Greatest Amateur Tire Pump EVER!
Like most of you, I have a few air pumps, but they are usually a little bit of a hassle since they plug into the car lighter outlet.
Sears has a new rechargeable handheld Compressor for $34.99. YOu can just walk around to each tire and use the "built in digital gauge." They take the 19.2 volt batteries that are used on the drills. Check it out! http://www.sears.com/sr/javasr/product.do?BV_UseBVCookie=Yes&vertical=TOOL&cat=Compressors+%26+Air+Tools&subcat=Air+Compressors+%26+Inflators&pid=00911586000 Great for track or fun runs........... ![]()

That looks like a great and useful toy. I'd get one if I didn't already have two small compressors.

I have a self contained pump with a 12 volt lead acid battery built into it. It's a bit heavy but I think that is slightly more practical. It would do several tires, and does not have to plug into the lighter.

Does not seem underpowered.
Charge seems better than what was advertised. Remember, most of us just need to add 1 or 2 lbs at a time. I did my 8 tires with no degradation in output. Most of the Pcar's tires needed around 3-4 lbs psi. I now feel like a crew cheif. Great for keeping tires at their optimum. Great for filling the kids paddle pool.

I agree, two complete fills is a lot of air. |

Bet I have one of those before Father's Day. That looks like something family members will think "I need".
With four cars, two boys, 5 dirt bikes, 740 thousand bicycles and 2.4 million pool / beach blow up toys. Yea I could get some use out of it. Espically if it means not having to start the big air compressor - which scares the dog and rattles cans off the shelf.
