light weight fibreglass bonnets (UK)

Hi,

just want to know your thoughts on the lightweight 911 bonnets that I'm producing. I originally intended to make a one-off for my '74 RSR replica, but think there may be demand for more? It weighs 5.5kg, is made of fibreglass, but is otherwise an exact replica of the original porsche bonnet (fit and finish wise).

May also make some in carbon fibre... your thoughts?

www.mulsannecars.com/911_bonnet for images.

cheers, Mike

Good for you Mike, would be interesting to see some pics of one on a car, to get an idea of the quality of the fit.
