E Cams, T Heads, S Pistons?
I just picked up a set of 2.4S P/C and now I am thinking I might just put some parts I have collected onto my 2.4T EFI project motor before installing it for the summer. This is basically a temporary setup to prove the EFI concept before I build a wild 2.7 next winter.
So what I would have is: Set of 2.4 T Heads Set of 2.4E mfi Cams Set of 2.4S P/C On a 2.4 Crank. Think it will all work together? I think Drivability should be excellent with the higher compression and the E Cams. And that my Red-line will be a bit flow limited by the Heads. although I could always open them up a bit if required.

Depending on the specific T heads you have, your intake ports may be as small as 29mm (mine were). That's going to choke off a lot of the fun-factor of your 8.5:1 compression pistons and warmer cams. In my 2.4T, I am running 9.8:1 compression and hotter cams, and opened my ports up to 34mm. Free breathing to 6200 rpm, which is where my cams run out of breath. A modest port job will be well worth the money.

I ran that exact engine with MFI. So far it's been my favorite engine. Pulls strong from idle to redline, easy to drive around town or at the track.
