Post pics of your 18" wheels installed...

Lots of folks are running 17" wheels as a second set.

Curious to see what 18" wheels look on 911.. preferably on anything 911 (pre-1988).

Current tire choices (bell curve) seem to centered around the 18" direction.

Show us your best photo with 18"s installed.

not pre 1988, but here are some 18 inch HRE's. Although I would stick with 17's as I just bought two new 285/30 18's for the back..ouch.

Here is my 72':

To get her down, by measuring the suspension points I'm 1/2" below Euro.

18*7.5 225's
18*10 265's

Not for everyone, I know. But I still like it and she sure handles better than the 15*7's she came with.

285's must be a record. My 265's didn' fall in but then again I have them stretched over 10's. Probably a better/easier fit with the more typical 9.5's. If you want a certain fit stay at 9.5. 10's might tighten up the tire more but they "just" fit if you want to get it down.

The front lips are rolled... on the rear I cut about 1.5 mm of inner lip off to give a liitle extra clearence I believe the Left side was a tighter fit than the Right
