Intermediate Tail Pipe
 

Where can I get the short, maybe 15", intermediate tail pipe which connects the short race headers to a dtandard 2in 2out muffler? I have a set of race headers and I want to keep my custom M&K muffler, but I need to connect bewteen them.

The adapters from short headers to a factory muffler are used with George Narbel's European Racing Header's. They mention them in the product descriptions (here: http://www.dartauto.com/headers.html), but I didn't see them listed separately. I would inquire directly with Dart Auto.

I'm sure Ben can make some. If you need them in a hurry and don't care so much about stainless steel, most muffler shops can get the correct flanges and weld up a section for you with one on each end. I had a time finding the flanges that fit the metric dimensions on a one day search, but then I stumbled into the off-road, VW shop and they had them hanging on the pegboard.
