Motec Experience?
I am thinking of changing over my engine management from DTA to Motec since the DTA decided to croak. While the DTA is a pretty good system, it is not user friendly and requires DOS and serial ports for tuning. What ECU are you guys running 400 or 600 series and what reason for one over the other?
Thanks, Dave

Dave:
We use both Motec & DTA and IMHO, both are excellent systems within their price ranges. ![]() Both companies offer Windows-based interfaces with the latest Engine Management suites that makes it FAR more user-friendly than the DOS-based ones. The choice of which system to use is really based on what capabilities you need and your budget.

Steve,
Thanks for the quick reply. I was not aware that I could get DTA in the US. Could I just upgrade my ecu and keep my current harness? Is the new windows based unit 3d like Motec? My current unit goes back to the mid 90's.
