Unhappy factory alarm

Someone tried removing the Porsche factory alarm on my 87 carrera. It is located behind the blower against the firewall.
Please, Please......

Can some electrical Guru tell me if by doing this the wiring to the ignition is now faulty? Is this why my car wont start after installing a new computer and DME relay?

No spark, no power to fuel pump?
How does the factory alarm work, cant find it on the wiring diagram in the Haynes manual?

Thank you to anyone that can help.

The short answer is yes, but I don't have the wiring diagram to post it. Steve Wilkinson (sp?) mentioned this exact problem in his book, The Gold-Plated Porsche. You'll need the wiring diagram to trace and replace the circuit that has been altered. Try doing a search for it, there's quite a few threads on it.
By the way, the factory alarm IS garbage; I've set mine off any number of times. It attracts zero attention.

Regards,

Side note: in case you were thinking about it, do a search on aftermarket alarms (and all the problems people have with them) before going with one. A faulty alarm can be your worst nightmare.

I will never have an after market alarm, too easy to take out the fuel pump relay. Thanks for the tip and all that have helped me so far.
When I get it running, will post some pics.
