Are OEM plug wires for 74-83 911s solid wire?

I changed mine about two months ago and if memory serves me right, I think they are.

OEM is a straight wire using the Beru connector instead of the wire being spiral to eliminate the field.

I'm putting in an MSD 6A and they said to avoid solid core wires.
