Thoughts on moving the batteries
we have a'73 with the original 2 battery setup, sitting in the battery boxes just ahead of the wheel wells. It is always a pain replacing the batteries, limited to Interstated U911 due to size.
I have talked to a few people locally who recomend I keep the batteries in the original locations due to keeping the wieght in the front of the car, but I would like to move to an Optima installed in the smugglers box. Any pros or cons that come to mind? Thanks

You can lay an optima on its side in one of the boxes. My 73 was that way.
