Just wanted to share a few pics of my '88 shod with new-to-me BBS rims and Toyo RA1s. (I decided to move up to 'R' tires now that I have a trailer.)
I bought the BBS rims from another Pelican on the forum. And yes, I only have silver lug nuts at the moment. The 245-45-16 rears really fill out the fender wells. I had to roll both front fender lips, as well as the left rear lip, to get the tires under the car. If you look closely, you'll see the rear tire just clears the opening.

Nice! Looking good! I need to lower my SC ... what a difference it makes.
Are those BBS rims tough to clean? I can't imagine trying to get in between the crevices.

They are indeed a b!tch to clean. The outer rim halfs are bare. When I mount the next set of tires, I'm painting the rim halfs silver, and the centers flat black.

What method did you use to roll? I just put 7's up front and had a little clearance issue yesterday- doh!
Lookin' good! |
