Looking for a mechanic who knows 911s

I am looking for a mechanic to assist in helping me inspect a 1972 Porsche 911 with a 1983 SC motor that I would like to purchase. I will need the person to help me inspect the car around 10 am Sunday in Rancho Cucamonga. If anyone is interested please PM me... Also willing to pay for your troubles

To properly inspect it you will have to take it to a qualified Porsche shop and put it on a lift.
Leak down test.
All that good stuff.

There are many qualified independents around. Arrange to meet the seller at the shop of your choice, and pay the $300 for a comprehensive Pre-Purchase Inspection.
The report should be YOURS since you paid for it. If you walk away from the car and the seller wants a copy, ask him to pay half.

Thanks for the info and the quick replies. If anybody knows a good Porsche garage in the Arcadia/Pasadena area, please let me know.
