Lots of smoke from under engine?

I am getting alot of white smoke that appears to be coming from under the engine (you see it coming out the drivers side rear wheel and under the engine on the driver's) and when you open the rear deck lid there is quite a bit.

I have a oil leak, but have added some oil and double checked its level.

Any idea what the cause is?

The leak is the second concern and appears to be coming from the little pipes under the engine, but I have not totally tracked that.

Will take pictures in a few to try and show.

Thanks for any help.

Was there smoke under the engine before you added the oil?

I am searching the threads and yes, my car has been sitting since January (tax season).

Also, the engine runs smooth, but the smoke just keeps coming sort of in waves, but there.

No hard starting or rough running.

I just do not want to run it if it is serious, so I have not let it run much, but someone on another post suggest crud that needs to be burned off.

Was the engine smoking in January before you put it away?

Yes, it was. I had not run it much other than to warm up the engine and drive it around a bit. But it smoked.

To add some more info, the oil is leaking out a lot more now that I have run it some, will leave a puddle within a few minutes (ran to Home Depot for something and had a small puddle).

The leak appears to be in sort of the center of the engine under the car. I bought some stuff to clean it off and then going to watch where it is leaking from.

Am I correct in guessing that due to the oil leaking, it is just adding to the smoke as there is oil all over the exhaust and lower part of the engine with the leak and being burnt off?

Also, what should I look at for the leak?

Thanks

I'd check the oil pressure light switch as the symptoms sound a lot like mine. Top front of engine, I believe between the breather and the thermostat. Leaks out around the terminal. Use a light and mirror if needed to see it. You'll likely have to remove the air sensor to replace it. Easy once you get in there. Ken

Is there a DIY on that posted anywhere or in Wayne's book? We were doing renovations and my garage is a mess and my book is in there somewhere.

I was just shocked at the quantity after I filled it up before driving and how much came out. It always leaks a little, but nothing significant at all.
