My '72 is running, thanks Tom Amon. Pics

I've had my '72 for 3+years and never had it running. Pulled the motor to install another but never did it so the car sat for the last two years. Called Tom Amon a few weeks ago and on Wed. within 4 hours of showing up Tom had the car back together and running great. He worked like it was second nature, just knew every step and put it all together, it was amazing to see him work. He was easy to talk to and had no problem having my neighbors watch him get the car running. It's great to have a person of his caliber available, if you're reading this, thanks Tom.

Here are a few pics:

(Having issues with the pics and might add more later.)

Jay, I sent your stuff, finally. Looks like my discourtesy in not getting things to you on a timely basis didn't help things. For the rest of you readers, Jay sent me some aluminum MFI TB linkage for the Ragamuffin after the plater and I missed the fact that the linkage on some TB's (most notably the mag stacks) is AL. They ruined my TB linkage. This was two years ago. I contacted Jay a while back and told him the car had sold, but I snagged his linkage. Could I send it back? It took awhile to get the address (should have kept the box he sent it in), but that was earlier this year.

A big apology and thanks to you, Jay. And, the car looks great! Time to hit the roads before the weather gets too hot.

No apology needed Milt, that motor is still resting, glad to help. Before hitting the road though I need to rebuid the brakes and get new tires... soon.....very soon.
