Metal window trim

Has anyone ever installed the alum. trim with the window in the car. Is it possible?

In general, no. However, it would be helpful to know more specifics about your problem. Which window are you referring to? Windshield, rear window, quarter window? Coupe, Targa, cabriolet? Is the aluminum trim completely off?

It's hard enough with the glass on a stand where you can roll the rubber seal and push the trim in at the same time. I suppose if you had a couple of people and some really good lubricant, it's possible, but I've not been successful. One thing about the trim is it has to remain straight. If you bow it at all, it will look terrible.
