1974 911 Wont start

When i turn the key on i hear the fuel pump running.I turn the ign.To start the car,it will fire up for a split second then die out.I can also smell fuel almost like its flooded. But i dont believe its flooded. The car was running fine, we parked it for 3 days, and when we tried to start it today this is what happened.Ive tried to start it a couple more times today,w/the same results.Batt.is strong and the car has gas. Thanks

It was the pop off valve inside the air box.The epoxy sealing the valve to the air box didnt hold.

Glad it wasn't anything more serious. Good work!
