Does anyone else stock up on all the SL Rotella and Mobil 1 they can?
 

Is it just me who has gallons of 15W-40 old rotella and growing? At this point in the year it is officially impossible to buy anymore but when I could I bought all the quarts and gallons I could. I regret not buying a 5 gallon bucket of it when the local parts store had it. Now that Mobil 1 is not really a great synthetic and everyone is switching to amsoil/redline/others I figured I would pick up any of the good Mobil 1 I could find. I only have 6 quarts of that. But I have about 7 gallons of old Rotella T which is good for a while in my old 66.

I personally wouldn't stockpile oil - I remember seeing a recommendation against keeping it around longer than a year. The newer oils are still good, but might just need a little help from added GM EOS. But no, you're not the only person whom I have spoken to trying to stockpile oils :-)
