Crane ignition kit?

Hi, anyone have experience with the Crane Cams Fireball Ignition Kit`s?

My 911 drained the battery and sat for 3 weeks, after this it just does not want to start, tested the coil + sparkplugs and it seems that the problem is in the ignitnion.

I have a Permatune CDI, it has been opened before.. ( I can see that from the screws ) .. it smells somewhat like a burnt condensator, and that may not be too good a sign.. however it is not burnt inside from what i can see.

The Crane kit changes hand for just over $100, and it seems like a good deal compared to the $$$$ CDI untis.

Any advice welcome!
