Question on Kumho

I'm about to order a new set of Kumho Ecstas for my 89 Carrera with 17" rims. Am I okay with W rated tires (168 mph)? I will not be tracking this vehicle. Is there a good reason to have Z rated tires on a street car?

You should be just fine with a W rating.

By the way, MX's are the cat's meow. -But watch them on colder mornings til they get warm.

Thanks guys. I kinda knew the answer already. It just begs the question: Why bother buying a Z rated tire on a car that will never see that MPH?
