too hot outside to adjust valves?
the book says it should be 68 degrees, but this time of year that doesn't happen. Should I just go ahead and do them the regular way and not worry about it, or maybe go a little on the tight side to compensate for the 85+ degree heat out side?
Or should I just wait? |

You just need to make sure the motor is cold when you do them. I don't really see what the outside temp on any given day is going to do to your adustment.

Most people I know go a bit tighter in the summer and looser in the winter. This being measured in more or less drag on the feeler guage.

All factors included, having an impact on the exact adjustment, the outside temp will not matter significantly.
