Inside nut, trailing arm attachment

Somewhere on this forum, a while back, I think I remember someone coming up with a modified tool for reaching the inboard nut that sits maybe an inch and a half at most from the tranny. I can't find it. Can someone help?

Thanks,

It's an 87, G50. Ineed some way to break that inside nut. Nothing fits. Thinking about what to grind, bend, ect.

I redid the trailing arm bushings on my '88 a couple years ago. That G50 is right in the way, isn’t it?

My advice is to bite the bullet and drop the trans and engine. Dropping them isn't all that hard. It's a lot easier than what you're contemplating.

Yet, agreed, but I have access to a lift, and I figure I will give it 30 minutes to see if I can break that baby loose. I am just looking for a stopgap measure, if there is one that will work.

At this point, I am simply trying to get back together for a track day on Tuesday, then I have two weeks, which gives me plenty of time to R&R the engine/tranny and do the job, which I have done before.

Thanks,
