Koni question
Had a shop install new Koni replacement inserts on my 73.5' 911T. We had the car up on a lift last weekend and saw the old covers were still there.
Do Koni replacement inserts come with covers? These are not the sport inserts - kept it all stock. Thanks! Sharon

Konis are just the inserts, though they come with new rubber. They're a great upgrade, I love mine. It would be nice to see a new cover, but you could always paint the struts yourself if it means that much to you.
BTW you can tell from the nut on the top of the shock in the trunk that they are new and if they're adjustable with the knob, then you'll see the "knife" top as well. Just in case you were wondering if the shop actually installed the new shock cartridges. Though I'm sure you could tell the difference in ride quality. -Matt
