Rear Seat Help

I removed my rear seat backs several years ago and had a sudden desire to put them back in. I had all the hardware in ziplock bags but can't remember which screws go where. I have three short screws and one longer screw, I believe this is for the leather strap to hold the seat back. I have the 3 smaller screws in but I can't seem to get the longer one in place. Does anybody have any pics or can confirm the longer screw is for the strap to hold the seat back. The diagrams on Pelican are for later model Carreras I believe.

Chris, I just went to my car and checked two of the screws. I only have three per seat back. The longer one is for the snap that connects to the firewall. the two short screws seem to hold the seat back carpet in place at the firewall.

The two red dots are small screws, the screw driver is pointing to the long screw.

Scott, I love my car too much to ever sell. I am actually getting ready for the HB Concours. I figured I had not put any time/love into my car in such a long time, I had to reenergize my passion by restoring what I can. I ordered a bunch of parts from Pelican that had been on my list and they should arrive tomorrow. The Targa top and headliner have been fully restored and next is my decision on my wheels/tires and the course I want to take with that. Hope things are well with you. If you want to get an SOCG mini lunch together somewhere in the vicinty of the last one, one day this week, count me in.

84porsche,
If I know you were doing this task today, I would offer to come and help because I want to know what is required. The PO took everything off the car to install a subwoofer box. Now I don't even know what I need.

Chris, lunch sounds great this week. I'm off from Wednesday through Friday.

You had me worried for a bit there, Chris. I thought you might be cleaning it up in order to get ready to sell it (God forbid).

See you this week.
