3.2 Hot Start and Stalling Problem

I think I have a couple of related problems with my ’87 Targa. The first is a hot start problem. Once the car is hot if I turn it off it will not restart right away. The engine will turn over but it won’t catch. If I let it set for about 5 minutes it will start again. Last fall I had the CHT sensor replaced which did not solve the problem. Last night it started stalling at speed on the highway. It happened twice within about 15 minutes. If I let it sit for about 5 minutes it will start up again. After reading the archives this is what I am thinking about doing. Replacing the DME Relay and the Fuel Pump Relay. If the problem persists then I am thinking it is the fuel pump or the DME module. Any other ideas or suggestions?

Thanks

Rob

The DME relay is 2 relays internally - the DME relay and the fuel pump relay.
