Windshield install-what size "cord"
I have searched the archives and found a few comments on using nylon cord, clothsline, and twine. All very different in size and texture. What size, and type of line is best?

I use a 3/16" nylon braided cord. I dont usually soap it up-its a little harder to get the glass in but less cleanup.
This size works for most all glass I do.

I simply used some scrap insulated 12 or 14 ga electrical wire I had lying around.... worked great.

That's what I was going to use Tim! Thanks guys, the clothsline reference shook me a bit.

I've used a 3/8" nylon cord and it worked great. It fit in the space really well.
