Replacing Rear Seat Belt Question....
I have an 89 911 cab and want to replace the cannister rear seat belt units. I figured I would ask before I start - are the nuts welded in place so all I do is untighten the bolt from the interior or do I have to have access from the underside to tighten the nuts (I have no lift). TIA AJM

sorry I can not answer your tech question however you may want to conduct a search and see if the rear belts were recalled, many have been and welded or not the dealer will replace.....

All you need to do is remove the bolts. They are installed in threaded fittings that are part of your tub.
Be sure you have the correct wrench. the bolts may be a SAE size, not metric.
