Pelican gathering (Thursday) Carlsbad/La Costa, Ca
This Thursday (24th) at 12 noon some of us are looking to meet some of you at the Crazy Burro restaurant on El Camino Real just north of the La Costa resort in Carlsbad.
We'll be coming from Prescott, AZ. Coming through Palm Springs/La Quinta mid morning Wednesday (23rd) and driving over 74/371 (nice twisties we're told) to Temecula and then Carlsbad for the night.

I'd certainly be up for it but unfortunately I'll be getting my semi-annual FAA flight pysical that same morning 50 miles north of where you'll be.
Great looking car, btw. Love the polished Fuchs! Friendly bump. |

Ryan, Should be ready to leave from La Quinta about 11ish. Going through the mountains on 74 371 to temecula. Probably look for lunch in temecula somewhere. Love to have you tag along. I've gotten a few responses about the Crazy Burro meet on Thursday. PM me with and for cell numbers so we can hook up in the La Quinta or PS area for the drive through the mountain twisties.

Thanks to the Pelicans who came to the Crazy Burro Thursday. Great to see you all. Drove back to Prescott this morning and took the 79/371/74 route "one more tme". No HP and most drivers willing to step aside. (YUMMY!)
Hope you will get a group together and come to AZ this fall for some DE Track Days in Phoenix and visit our local twisties with us.
